$75 Minimum Service Call — minimum charge
$45 - $75/HR — based on job time and complexity
Per-Unit Rate — based on the installation of single units such as fans or lights
Flat Rate — based on jobs that are in square footage, such as painting or pressure washing
Jobs will be based on the following pricing structure:

Painting:
$1.50 - $3 per square foot
The rate is based on the job's complexity, including painting trim, baseboards, closets, and the preparation required to start the job. This also includes covering furniture in the room, taping off trim and baseboards, and cleaning up the area after the job is completed.
Example Cost Estimate:
12-foot by 12-foot room with 8-foot ceiling = 12-foot width times 8-foot height times 4 walls = 384 square feet times $1.50 - $3 per square foot = $ $576 - $1152
Note: The total price is based on the homeowner cleaning behind furniture against the wall, moving furniture to the middle of the room, removing pictures and window treatments, and anything else that needs to be removed before painting can start. Fix It Heroes Handyman Service will charge a per-hour rate to complete these job tasks.
Ceiling Fan:
$ 50 - $150 per unit
This rate is based on the following criteria:
Has the ceiling fan been purchased, and is it at home ready for installation?
Has the ceiling fan been assembled?
Before installing the new ceiling fan, does an old ceiling fan or light need to be removed?
How high is the ceiling?
Is there currently wiring for the ceiling fan to be hooked up? If not, you must hire an electrical contractor to install the wires in that location.
Note: If only one ceiling fan is installed at $50, you will be charged the minimum service call rate of $75 if this is the only job you need to completed.
Laminate Flooring:
$3 - $6 per square foot
The rate is based on installing new laminate flooring with underlayment only, the complexity of the job, and cleaning up the room after completion.
Example Cost Estimate:
12-foot by 12-foot room = 12-foot width times 12-foot width = 144 square feet times $3 - $6 per square foot = $432 - $864
Note: The total price is based on the homeowner removing all furniture from the room, removing and disposing of the old flooring, and, if necessary, removing the baseboards. Fix It Heroes Handyman Service will charge a flat rate for performing these job tasks, including removing and disposing of the old flooring.
